Why I can’t vote for Obama

I’m not personally acquainted with Huntley Brown, but I think what he has to say bears repeating.

Political Suicide

I was depressed last night so I called Lifeline.

     I’ve been laughing hysterically at the rage, hate, attacks, smear tactics and raw disdain coming from the left wing blogs about Sarah Palin.  You don’t know what to do with her, do you?  Try as hard as you can, you still can’t put a dent in her amour.  She’s too tough for you.  She has class.  She’s a “lady.”  Something the “progressives” are not too familiar with. 

     The feminists are about to explode.  I can see them now.  Tears.  Fist clinching. Fingernail marks in their palms.  I bet you couldn’t scrape up 6 ounces of tooth enamel from the entire  board of directors of N.O.W. from them grinding their teeth so far down that they’re now only fangs.

      How dare she?  How dare she be a babe?  Why, she looks like a female anchor on the Fox News Network.  How dare she refuse to not murder her baby when she found out he had Down’s syndrome?  Damn her!  She is a member of the NRA and hunts!!!!  OMG!!!!!  I cannot wait til McCain’s elected and liberals gather on the steps of the Capitol, sing one verse of Kum-Ba-Yah and commit mass suicide.

 

Hilary’s Huge Hindquarters

I think I’ve figured out why left wing feminists are vehemently opposed to Sarah Palin.  Bitterness, jealousy and embarrassment.  Unlike Hilary, Sarah does not “need” to wear pantsuits.  She can, but it is not necessary.  Her backside is in proportion to her body.  Michele Obama has a big ass, but it’s not necessarily hideous like Hilary’s.  Militant feminism is the social vehicle by which ugly or unattractive women are inducted into the mainstream of society.

The Ant and the Grasshopper

OLD VERSION: The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long,
building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and
plays the summer away. Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed.

The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold. 

MORAL OF THE STORY: Be responsible for yourself!

CBS, NBC, PBS, CNN, and ABC show up to provide pictures of the
shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his comfortable
home with a table filled with food. America ’s stunned by the sharp
contrast.

How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor
grasshopper is allowed to suffer so? 

Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper, and everybody
cries when they sing, ‘It’s Not Easy Being Green.’

Jesse Jackson stages a demonstration in front of the ant’s house where
the news stations film the group singing, ‘We shall overcome.’ Jesse
then has the group kneel down to pray to God for the grasshopper’s sake.

Nancy Pelosi & John Kerry exclaim in an interview with Larry King that
the ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and both call
for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share.

Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Act
retroactive to the beginning of the summer.

The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green
bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is
confiscated by the government.

Hillary gets her old law firm to represent the grasshopper in a
defamation suit against the ant, and the case is tried before a panel
of federal judges that Bill Clinton appointed from a list of
single-parent welfare recipients.

The ant loses the case.

The story ends as we see the grasshopper finishing up the last bits of
the ant’s food while the government house he is in, which just happens
to be the ant’s old house, crumbles around him because he doesn’t
maintain it.

The ant has disappeared in the snow.

The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident and the house,
now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the
once peaceful neighborhood.

Common Sense Applied by a Child

I got this in an e-mail.  Could have really happened. 

 

 

I was talking to a friend of mine’s little girl, and she said she wanted to be
President some day.
Both of her parents, liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her, “If you were
President, what would be the first thing you would do?”
She replied, “I’d give houses to all the homeless people.”
“Wow – what a worthy goal.” I told her, “But you  don’t have to wait until  you’re  
President to do that. You can come over to my house and mow, pull weeds,
and  sweep my yard, and I’ll pay you $50. Then I’ll take you over to the grocery  
store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to us e
toward a new house.”
She thought that over for a few seconds (remember, she’s only 6.) And while her Mom
glared at me, she looked me straight in the eye and asked, “Why doesn’t the homeless
guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50?”
And I said, “Welcome to the Republican Party.”
Her folks still aren’t talking to me.
