Here’s an interesting concept that someone espoused the other day and I must say that it got me to thinking.  Please consider this.

What has the US government done in your lifetime as far as passing legislation of significant substance?  No matter who is in office, it is status quo.  For decades we have shuffled back and forth between Republicans and Democrats.  What has changed and what is the difference?  The debt continues to grow.  The value of the dollar continues to decline.  Inflation rises.  (Up and down, but the trend is on the rise.)  The Democrats have captured the hearts and minds of the poor who think they are “for the little guy” but they throw them crumbs and make it economically impossible for them to stop receiving welfare and get a job that pays minimum wage.  When the Republicans are elected, they talk a good game, but fail to follow thru with their promises.

What in the hell has happened to our schools?  When I was a kid, a million years ago, EVERYBODY in the third grade could read.  It didn’t take any damn extra money to teach them the  fundamentals.  How many people do you know who cannot name more than one United States Supreme Court Justice, but, can cite volumes of statistics on sports, Nascar or American Idol?  How many of you who are old like I am, can recognize the decline of the IQ of the average citizen?

The last time I can remember an attempt to “actually do something” was the “Contract with America” by Newt Gingrich and company back in “94?”  The current conservatives have also promised, but, it’s a little early to tell.

Conspiracy Theorist or not, how about this?  We’re being placated and wasting our time dividing ourselves

into different camps, arguing, calling each other names, etc. while the country is actually being steered to what the actual powers that be intend.

Where the hell did Barack Obama come from?  He stormed onto the scene and was catapulted into office.  Is he a puppet?  In my opinion, he’s a Socialist asshole, but is he a puppet?  If so, of whom?

Something to think about.

Tax the Rich. NOT!

For those of you who mindlessly chant the mantra, “Tax the rich, tax the rich” I wish you’d enlighten me again on how it’s “fair” for  President Obama to “Spread the Wealth.” (his own words) What exactly is it that is “fair” about that?

What gives you the right to opine, act or support the taking of what someone else has worked for and distribute to those who don’t work?  I’m not referring to those who “cannot” but those who “will not.”  If we delete those  on the welfare rolls who are physically capable, designated as mentally competent, young,  strong, and not going to school, there would be plenty of resources available in the current system to subsidize the ill.  The elderly, the infirm, the mentally challenged, the paralytics, the needy.

Damn you.  Damn you for advocating sloth.  If you’re an alcoholic or a drug addict and you choose to drink or shoot up, okay.  There are consequences to those choices.  Cirrhosis, Hepatitis, HIV, emaciation,  Caput Medusa,   hunger, homelessness, alienation from your family, death.

Yeah, yeah.  I know the AMA declared alcoholism a disease in 1956.  Well, Bullshit.  I’m an alcoholic, but, guess what?  I don’t drink.  It’s a choice and not a requirement.

Make a choice.  Grow a pair.  Will yourself to have a damn spine and stop listening to androgynous sissy liberals who encourage you to cry in public and get in touch with your feminine side.  Stop draining the public coffers.  Get up off your lazy, worthless, good for nothing ass and either work or starve to death.

I didn’t start out with the intention of this being the content of this post, but you left wing sons of bitches really gripe my ass.

 

I don’t want to keep you up.  You don’t have any claim to my wages.  It is totally unreasonable to expect me to potentially have to pass a drug test to continue earning my wages, but for you not to have to in order to take my money.

You will love this one, I haven’t stop laughing yet.

For those of you who have never traveled to the west, or southwest, cattle guards are horizontal steel rails placed at fence openings, in dug-out places in the roads adjacent to highways (sometimes across highways), to prevent cattle from crossing over that area.  For some reason the cattle will not step on the “guards,” probably because they fear getting their feet caught between the rails.

A few months ago, President Obama received and was reading a report that there were over 100,000 cattle guards in Colorado .  The Colorado ranchers had protested his proposed changes in grazing policies, so he ordered the Secretary of the Interior to fire half of the “cattle” guards immediately!

Before the Secretary of the Interior could respond and presumably try to straighten President Obama out on the matter, Vice-President Joe Biden, intervened with a request that…before any “cattle” guards were fired, they be given six months of retraining for Arizona border guards.  ’Times are hard’, said Joe Biden, ‘it’s only fair to the cattle guards and their families!’

I suppose we could retrain some of them to become “corpsemen.”

HIGH SCHOOL – 1959 vs. 2009

Scenario  1:
Jack  goes quail hunting before school and then pulls into the school parking lot with his shotgun in his truck’s gun rack.
1959  - Vice Principal comes over, looks at Jack’s shotgun, goes to his car and gets his own shotgun to show Jack.
2009  - School  goes into lock down, FBI called, Jack hauled off to jail and never sees his truck or gun again. Counselors called in for traumatized students and teachers.

Scenario  2:
Johnny and Mark get into a fist fight after school.
1959 – Crowd gathers. Mark wins. Johnny and Mark shake hands and end up buddies..
2009 - Police are called. SWAT team arrives — they arrest both Johnny and Mark. They are both charged with assault and both expelled even though Johnny started it.

Scenario  3:
Jeffrey will not be still in class, he disrupts other students.
1959  - Jeffrey sent to the Principal’s office and given a good paddling by the Principal. He then returns to class, sits still and does not disrupt class again..
2009  - Jeffrey is given huge doses of Ritalin. He becomes a zombie. He is then tested for ADD. The school gets extra money from the state because Jeffrey has a disability.

Scenario  4:
Billy breaks a window in his neighbor’s car and his Dad gives him a whipping with his belt.
1959  - Billy is more careful next time, grows up normal, goes to college and becomes a successful businessman.
2009  - Billy’s dad is arrested for child abuse. Billy is removed to foster care and joins a gang. The state psychologist is told by Billy’s sister that she remembers being abused herself and their dad goes to prison. Billy’s mom has an affair with the psychologist.

Scenario  5:
Mark gets a headache and takes some aspirin to school.
1959 - Mark shares his aspirin with the Principal out on the smoking  dock.
2009 - The police are called and Mark is expelled from school for drug violations. His car is searched for drugs and weapons.

Scenario  6: Pedro fails high school English.
1959 - Pedro  goes to summer school, passes English and goes to college.
2009 - Pedro’s cause is taken up by state. Newspaper articles appear nationally explaining that teaching English as a requirement for graduation is racist, and ACLU files class action lawsuit against the state school system and Pedro’s English teacher. English is then banned from core curriculum. Pedro is given his diploma anyway but ends up mowing lawns for a living because he cannot speak English..

Scenario  7:
Johnny takes apart leftover firecrackers from the Fourth of July, puts them in a model airplane paint bottle and blows up a red ant bed..
1959  - Ants die.
2009 - ATF, Homeland Security and the FBI are all called. Johnny is charged with domestic terrorism. The FBI investigates his parents  – and all siblings are removed from their home and all computers are confiscated. Johnny’s dad is placed on a terror watch list and is never allowed to fly again.

Scenario  8:
Johnny falls while running during recess and scrapes his knee. He is found crying by his
teacher, Mary. Mary hugs him to comfort  him.
1959  - In a short time, Johnny feels better and goes on playing..
2009  - Mary is accused of being a sexual predator and loses her job. She faces 3 years in State Prison.  Johnny undergoes 5 years of therapy.

Democrats are sissies and can’t conjer up any guts to govern. If they have testicles, they float when they sit down in the bathtub. They’re spineless because they spend all their time worshipping at the altar of Political Correctness. The only thing that has saved us thus far is that there are “some” democrats who are not as far down the in the sewer as Nancy and Harry and still have a few brain cells left.

The Republicans are wasting this opportunity to have a Reaganesque leader rise to the surface and take the bull by the horns. Cut spending. Cut taxes. Build the fence. Take KSM and Hasan from Fort Hood out back and shoot them. A baby is a baby. Call it a zygote if you want to, but it’s still a baby. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure this out.

Let the military run the military and notify Barney Frank and Al Franken that they’re a couple of idiots and to shut up.

A Question for Liberals

This is a serious question that I’d really like an answer to.  Does anybody out there know, why, President Obama does not place his hand over his heart during the National Anthem, Pledge of  Allegiance, etc?
